.store reads slightly more permanent than .shop — a shop can be a stall, a store is a place. For furniture, electronics, appliances, jewellery and other considered purchases, that difference in register is real, and Indian buyers respond to it.
It also solves a specific problem cleanly. A brand whose .com went years ago can put its storefront on brand.store without hyphens, abbreviations or a number stuck on the end, and the address still says exactly what the site is for.
As with .shop, the first-year price is promotional and the renewal is not: ₹449 to register, ₹2,300 a year afterwards. If the name is central to your business that is defensible. If you are experimenting, take a .in at ₹499 that renews at ₹599 and keep the option open.

Choose .store for established retail brands moving online, showrooms with a catalogue, and multi-category sellers who want an address that reads as a destination rather than a listing.
